Janne Sundqvist, bass, was born in Turku in 1973. He studied the trumpet at the Turku conservatory and attended the Lahti military music college. As well as performing as a trumpeter he has studied singing since 1996, and in 1997 joined the soloist’s faculty of the Sibelius Academy as a pupil of Anssi Hirvonen. His repertoire extends from Charpentier to Weill/Brecht.
