Born in Rome, Cristiana Arcari graduated in Music History at La Sapienza University. She studied singing with Isabel Gentile, Marinella Meli and Lucia Naviglio, and baroque singing with Sergio Foresti, continuing her studies at the Salzburg Mozarteum with Rudolf Knoll. Her repertoire ranges from the baroque to the contemporary, and she has sung works by Carissimi, Stradella, Charpentier, A. Scarlatti, Vivaldi, J.S. Bach, Handel, Mozart, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Britten, Guaccero, Reich and Morricone, with a number of world premières of works by contemporary composers.
