Tenor Chad Shelton has appeared with Opéra National de Lorraine, Théâtre de Caen, Dallas Opera, and in world première productions by John Adams and Richard Danielpour with the San Francisco Opera and Opera Company of Philadelphia. He has also taken leading rôles with the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Opera Pacific, Utah Opera, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Cincinnati Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and New York City Opera, and performed in concert with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Virginia Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, and Rochester Philharmonic, among others. He is a recipient of a Richard Tucker Foundation Career Grant and a Richard F. Gold Career Grant, awarded by the Shoshana Foundation.
