American tenor John Osborn has gained international acclaim performing with leading theatres around the world, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Opéra national de Paris, the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, the Metropolitan Opera, the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, the Zürich Opera, Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the San Francisco Opera, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

His repertoire includes roles such as Arnold (Guillaume Tell), Jean de Leyden (Le prophète), Pollione (Norma), Rodrigo (La donna del lago), the title role in Rossini’s Otello, Fernand (La favorite), Hoffmann (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) and Tonio (La Fille du régiment). Recently his first solo album, A Tribute to Gilbert Duprez, was released on Delos.
