Luciano Ganci is considered one of the most interesting voices of the new generation of tenors. He took his first steps in the world of music as a „voce bianca“ in the choir of the Pontifical Sistine Chapel under the direction of Maestro Domenico Bartolucci. Even as a child, he took singing, piano and organ lessons and, in addition to his musical studies, obtained a degree in surveying engineering. He then gained a degree in civil engineering in urban and regional planning.

Since 2006, he has mainly studied lyrical singing under the direction of maestro Otello Felici in Rome. Active since 2009, his repertoire includes around 40 works from the great repertoire, including Tosca, Aida, Il Trovatore, La Bohème, but also lesser-known works such as Stiffelio. He has sung at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Teatro dell’ Opera in Rome, the Liceu in Barcelona, the Bolshoi and the Mariinsky Theatre, among others, and has worked with great conductors and directors.
