Juan Orozco studied at the Mexico City National Conservatory. Following appearances at home he took an engagement with the Bremen Theatre and since 2018 has been with Theater Freiburg. His repertoire includes some 40 principal baritone roles, including Rigoletto, Nabucco, Luna, Renato, Germont and Jago, Scarpia, Amfortas and Escamillo. Guest engagements have taken him to Darmstadt, Oldenburg, Nuremberg and Brunswick theatres, Munich Gärtnerplatz Theatre, Berne and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
