Upon completion of her vocal studies, Mari Eriksmoen found herself with a dream offer to sing Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos) at the Theater an der Wien. Frequent return visits to Vienna have included Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Euridice (Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo), Teti (Rossini’s Le nozze di Teti e di Peleo) and Rosina (Paisiello’s Il barbiere di Siviglia); and portrayals of Mozart’s Susanna, Zerlina and Fiordiligi together with the late Nikolaus Harnoncourt.

Other key opera appearances have included Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and at the Opernhaus Zürich, Blondchen (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) at Oper Frankfurt, Glyndebourne and at the BBC Proms; and she has appeared as Waldvogel in Wagner’s Siegfried as part of Daniel Barenboim’s epic Ring cycles at the Teatro alla Scala.

A versatile concert singer, Eriksmoen is a regular guest of the Orchestre de Paris, the Münchner Philharmoniker, the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, the Malmö Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Symphony, among others.
