Born in Bergamo, Gabriele Nani has won a number of competitions, including the European Community Competition in Spoleto. He started his career in Italy, followed by appearances throughout Europe, as well as in Mexico, South Korea and China. He has been among the winners of RAI 1’s television competition Tour de Chant, where his performances of both Mozart’s and Rossini’s Figaro have won acclaim. His repertoire ranges from Mozart to the contemporary and he has appeared in collaboration with major conductors and directors.
