José Vicente Castelló was born in Alicante and is today one of the leading horn-players in Spain. He studied with Radovan Vlatkovic at the Reina Sofia Music School in Madrid, where he was presented several times with the outstanding performance prize by Queen Sofi a. José Vicente Castelló has won a number of international prizesat the 2005 Munich ARD International Competition and and an honorable mention at the 2007 Prague Spring International Competition.
