Canadian soprano Kimy Mc Laren made her professional stage debut with Opéra National du Rhin, since then she has performed extensively worldwide and accrued a formidable and widely diverse repertoire comprised of opera, concert, recital, and musical theatre. Mc Laren has performed more than 30 operatic roles.

Recent engagements include Juliette in Roméo et Juliette in Metz and Reims, the Fünfte Magd in Elektra in Montreal, Bach’s Weinachtsoratorium, and Sondheim’s Passion at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, where she was an enormously successful Julie Jordan in Carousel. Additionally, she has appeared as a soloist with an impressive number of symphony orchestras, including the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Orchestre Métropolitain, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Wiener KammerOrchester. She is a prizewinner of the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg and the Mario Lanza Competition in Italy.
