After initially studying piano, Pietro Di Bianco began vocal studies at the age of 25, attending the Aquila Conservatory, the Accademia Rossiniana Alberto Zedda and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, where he took part in masterclasses with Renata Scotto. He undertook further studies with Raina Kabaivanska and Rockwell Blake, and in 2014 won a Paris Opéra Award and entered the young artist’s programme at the Opéra Bastille.

Di Bianco has performed in many productions around the world, and has also appeared at the Berlin Philharmonie, as well as with the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France. In 2018 he performed in Il barbiere di Siviglia under the direction of Riccardo Frizza, and Gianni Schicchi with Laurent Pelly at the Opéra Bastille. He has also performed at the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music. In 2019 he made his debut in the US at the Minnesota Opera, performed Rossini’s Messa di Gloria for Malandain Ballet, appeared in Falstaff at The Grange Festival, and has returned to Innsbruck.
