The mezzo-soprano, Anat Czarny, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University and now studies with Abbie Furmansky.

Czarny has performed in many recitals and concerts including radio broadcasts throughout Israel, Italy and France, and has performed as a soloist with all of the major orchestras in Israel.

She was a finalist in the Cesti Baroque Opera Competition in 2015 and was a member of the Israeli Opera’s Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire included Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Angelina (La Cenerentola) and Dido (Dido and Aeneas), among others. At the Israeli Opera she performed as Giannetta (L’Elisir d’amore), Stéphano (Roméo et Juliette), Hermia (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), and many more. She made her European opera debut in the role of Le Prince charmant (Cendrillon).
