South Korean soprano Irina Jae-Eun Park has been part of the ensemble at Theater Freiburg since 2018, where she has appeared in the roles of Noémie (Cendrillon, Naxos 2.110563) and Swanhilde (Hulda, Naxos 8.660480–82), among others. During the 2021–22 season she made her role debuts as Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly, Freiburg) and Pamina (Die Zauberflöte, Gwangju Culture & Art Center).

Park studied at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, the Universität der Künste Berlin and the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. She is a prizewinner of the 2016 International Lions Singing Contest Immling, the International Art Song Competition Stuttgart (Hugo Wolf Academy) and the 2015 ARD International Music Competition.
