Jongsoo Yang was born in South Korea in 1989 and studied at Sahmyook University in Seoul before moving to Berlin to train with Peter Maud and Reginaldo Pinheiro in Freiburg. He joined the ensemble at Theater Freiburg in 2017, singing in choral works by Bach, Mozart and Haydn.
He is a recipient of a Paul Hindemith Scholarship from the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation.
