David Cangelosi made his Metropolitan Opera début in 2004 as Mime in Das Rheingold, conducted by James Levine, and has returned there in multiple principal rôles over the past twelve years. Additionally, he has performed his signature rôle of Mime with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, and Washington National Opera.
His recordings include the ‘Forging Scene’ from Siegfried with Plácido Domingo for EMI Classics.
