The Austrian-New Zealand bass Anthony Robin Schneider was a member of the ensemble of Oper Frankfurt from 2019 to 2023.
Notable performances include the title role in Handel’s Hercules, Ibn-Hakia (Iolanta), Heinrich der Vogler (Lohengrin), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro), Sparafucile (Rigoletto), A Monk / Grand Inquisitor (Don Carlo) and Innkeeper (Der ferne Klang). In February 2022 he returned to Houston Grand Opera as Sarastro / Speaker (Die Zauberflöte) where he began his career.
Further guest commitments have taken him to the Semperoper in Dresden, Santa Fe Opera, Wolf Trap Opera and to the Tyrolean Festival in Erl.
Anthony Robin Schneider is a scholarship holder of the Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation.
