Stefano Palatchi was born in Barcelona. Since his first appearance in the Gran Teatre del Liceu in 1986 he has become an assiduous performer on that stage, where he has sang more than 30 operas. He sang in Paris the world re-opening performance of Una Cosa Rara by Martin y Soler and also in Lucrezia Borgia with Joan Sutherland and Alfredo Kraus at the theatre of the Champs-Elysees. He has appeared in the principal theatres in Spain, Europe and America, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York under conductors such as Bonynge, Oren, Lopez-Cobos and with artists such as Domingo, Milnes, Alagna and Bartoli.
