Italian mezzo-soprano Mara Gaudenzi studied at the Conservatorio Rossini di Pesaro and attended the Accademia del Belcanto ‘Rodolfo Celletti’ in Martina Franca, the Academy BelCanto in Wildbad and the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala.

As part of the opera studio in Tenerife she appeared in Il matrimonio segreto, with performances at the Teatro Regio in Turin and the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. A laureate of numerous international competitions, she made her debut at the Festival Donizetti Opera in Bergamo in Chiara e Serafina. Gaudenzi appeared in the title role of the world premiere of Pierangelo Valtinoni’s The Little Prince, and has also performed at the Staatstheater Mainz, Teatro Sociale di Rovigo and the Grand Theatre de Tours.
