Stuart Kale is internationally recognised as one of the most outstanding singing actors in the operatic world. Also a consummate musician, he includes in his repertoire a wide range of rôles from Monteverdi to Messiaen, all of which he has performed with notable success. He began his career at Welsh National Opera before joining English National Opera, where he remained for eight years, singing rôles such as that of Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Michael in Martin’s Julietta, Alfred in Die Fledermaus and Nanki-Poo in Jonathan Miller’s production of The Mikado.
