Europa Galante has appeared in major concert halls throughout Europe, as well as in Australia, Japan, Canada, Israel, and the Americas. The ensemble has a varying structure and often performs chamber music, including the string sonatas of Italian composers of the seventeenth century. Europa Galante has been nominated twice for GRAMMY^® Awards, in 2004 for its disc of Vivaldi’s Concerti con molti strumenti and in 2006 for its recording of Vivaldi’s Bajazet. The most recent release, Vivaldi arias with Vivica Genaux, has received an Echo Classics award.
