The tenor Johann Winzer was born in Munich and had his training in London, Milan, Venice, Cologne and Berlin with distinguished teachers, including Pier Miranda-Ferraro, Joseph Metternich and Francisco Araiza. He has sung lyric-dramatic rôles, including Hoffmann and Belmonte, and a number of operetta characters in various theatres at home and abroad. Since 2004 he has been a member of pianopianissimo-musictheater.
