Since 1912, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra has enhanced the cultural life of its community with symphonic music, performing 200 concerts each year for 250,000 patrons from all walks of life. Over the last sixteen seasons, music director Miguel Harth-Bedoya has transformed the FWSO into an ensemble that is recognised internationally for its artistic excellence and commitment to community engagement. As the principal resident company of the Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performance Hall, the orchestra performs a broad range of symphonic, pops and educational concerts as well as presenting the Concerts In The Garden Summer Music Festival and maintaining an active touring schedule. The FWSO is also admired for its dynamic collaborations with organisations including the Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, The Cliburn, and the Children’s Education Program of Bass Performance Hall.
