Born in New Brandenburg, Britta Schwarz began her vocal training at the Hans Eisler Musikhochschule in Berlin with Christa Niko, then moving to Dresden to study with Christian Elßner and Hartmut Zabel. She then undertook a four-year engagement at the studio of the Dresden Semperoper. She has collaborated in many concerts with distinguished orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Dresden, the Dresden Philharmonic, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Stuttgart Philharmonic, Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields and with conductors in...
