Gianfranco Montresor was born in Verona and received his diploma from the Conservatorio di Musica ‘Luca Marenzio’, Brescia. He made his début in 1993 at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona in La Gattabianca by Paolo Arca, followed by the rôles of Escamillo in Carmen at the San Severo Festival and Marcello in La bohème at the Teatro Massimo, Palermo. His career has brought appearances at major opera venues and events in Italy and abroad, and collaboration with distinguished conductors and directors.
