Katarina Dalayman studied at the Swedish Opera Academy in Stockholm and made her début in 1991 at the Royal Swedish Opera where she has sung leading rôles in Aspern Papers, Simon Boccanegra, La Bohème, Otello and Die tote Stadt. Nowadays, she sings in operas and concerts all over the world: Paris, London Covent Garden, New York Metropolitan, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden, Munich, La Monnaie in Bruxelles, Salzburg Festival e.g. in Wagner’s Meistersinger, Tannhäuser and Tristan und Isolde, Verdi’s Don Carlos, Puccini’s Tosca, Strauss Ariadne auf Naxos, Tchaikovsky’s Pique Dame and Beethoven’s Fidelio.
