Scott Wilde studied at The Juilliard School in New York. He debuted at the Baltimore Opera, followed by engagements in San Francisco, New York City Opera, Washington and St. Louis.

He made his European debut as Il commendatore (Don Giovanni) in Dublin. His repertoire includes the roles Rocco (Fidelio), Daland (Der fliegende Holländer), Monterone (Rigoletto), Reinmar (Tannhäuser), Father Trulove (The Rake’s Progress), Jason (Medea), Marke (Tristan und Isolde), Lieutenant Ratcliffe (Billy Budd), Hérod (Salome), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte) and Hermit (Der Freischütz). Other engagements include Lo zío Bonzo (Madama Butterfly at the Teatro Real) and Tommaso (Tiefland at the Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse) and Der Rosenkavalier at Dutch National Opera.
