Dottie West earned her first Top 40 hit in 1963 and was the first female country artist to win a Grammy Award for the chart-topper "Here Comes My Baby"; and was followed by a string of hits including a pair of number ones with "What Are We Doin' in Love" and "A Lesson in Leavin'".
