To begin with,Pprof. Kocsis has the feeling that the student doesn't enjoy this Sonata because her reading has not been so interesting as it should be, specially in this movement. He also comments the difference between editions: he prefers using the Henle one because a certain part is in G clef, such as in the manuscript.
About specific details, Kocsis talks about the staccatissimo performance. Legato parts also should be more cantabile and the rest, more "jocoso" and even ridiculous. After several short instructions, the professor advises her not to think so much: it is simpler than the student considers, although it is expressive and acting in some moments.
In a certain passage, the harmonic progression must be emphasized and then the student must realize that the two hands belong to one voice: connection between both hands is the most important thing here. After that, a cadence is necessary and finally there is a short comment related to metrics.
