In this masterclass, Prof. Thunemann proposes some technical bassoon exercises to the student in order to work the effective air emission and the quality of the produced sound, which must be round. In Thunemann's opinion, the top note needs more vibration. In a certain moment, the professor suggests playing by using another key because it changes the tuning a little bit - in this case, it is a little higher. Furthermore, Klaus Thunemann highlights that the student must play legato and all the notes very even.
