Molina Pardo, Lucia

Klaus Thunemann begins the lecture with a correction related to the ornamentation (grupetto). He corrects also the mouth position with the embrouchure so that this one doesn't go down and neither closes the reed. The most important thing is the air, so she must control it properly.

The professor makes also comments on other musical issues such as the tempo, phrasing, dynamics, pulse maintenance, sound quality or expression in the trill. Moreover, Thunemann insists on matters related to the reed. Then they work on breathing, articulation and rhythm, and on the character (don't play too much wellness). In a certain section with scales, the notes must be played more equally and taking care of the tuning.

Finally, regarding a student's question on her sound, Thunemann advises her not to press so much the reed but play freer. He tests her bassoon and they comments on its tuning and how to avoid "ugly sounds".
